On our July Colorado vacation, we had a cracked fuel filter threaten
to ruin our day. I got the bright idea to replace it with a cut down
cheap pen body. Not a good idea because the gas ate through the pen
and turned it to mush.
A better idea was to get a lawn mower fuel filter at the local
hardware store (no motorcycle shop in town).
